STYLE SESSION // 3 JEANS, 3 OUTFITS

LOOK 1 // LOOK 2 // LOOK 3

This is my first style session of 2020, and I hope it inspires you to JUST PUT ON THE JEANS. I never used to wear jeans… dresses and skirts were my go-to because I didn’t feel comfortable in jeans. But this year I’ve realized how much I wear them now. This is the first of many denim stylings I’m sure.

Watch the IGTV session here (a quick video with music) on my Instagram. Below are the size details and links for everything:

WHAT I WORE // DISTRESSED DENIM + LEOPARD BOOTIES

JACKET // TOP // LEGGINGS // BOOTS // SUNNIES // TOTE

First of all… let me just get this out of the way. The cut-out side of these boots IS SLAYING ME. It is so flattering what it does to your ankle and your leg. I’m in love! I’m also utilizing the theory that “leopard is a neutral” here - and in this case, I thought it brought out the warm colors of the shirt perfectly.

I rarely throw a cropped jacket with leggings, but today I’m showing you it’s possible!

ON PRINT MIXING // + why you should try it

COAT // SKIRT // TOP // BOOTS

I finally ordered some items from Blair Eadie’s collaboration with Halogen at Nordstrom and I LOVE the versatility in this collection! I really appreciated that she had the opportunity to add extended sizing to her collection and she said YES. We need more Blair’s in the fashion world!

I love mixing prints and pairing unexpected colors together because it adds interest, and it also elevates your look.

SPRING STAPLES WITH LANE BRYANT: PART TWO

The power of a classic, crisp, white button front shirt is underrated. The thing that has always turned me off about them, however, is that they aren't interesting enough for me. Also, I want something comfortable I can move in. With my shape, I often have to size two sizes up to get something that fits, but then it looks too boxy.
