PLUS SIZE & PREGNANT // A SERIES, first look featuring DRAPER JAMES

Think you have to buy MATERNITY CLOTHES when you’re pregnant?! Think again. I am so excited to share with you guys a new series I'm starting while I'm pregnant. I’m challenging myself to do this with only non-maternity clothes… as long as I can! Dressing for your changing body, no matter WHAT size you are is difficult. I just happen to be plus size, and I want to share this journey with you all. 

What to expect: Over the course of the next few months (well, as long as I can stand to shoot photos, haha) I will share with you my outfits and how I am dealing with the stress of dressing my new bod. 

In the beginning stages of pregnancy, it's like no matter how big my hips already are they feel the need to expand even further! This makes it SO hard because I don't quite look pregnant yet, I just feel awkward. 

First up in the series: This super fun look from the ELOQUII x DRAPER JAMES collaboration. The biggest thing I realized with my first pregnancy is that you don't have to shop all maternity clothing. Especially in the first two trimesters, sometimes you just need to size up!

Eloquii is one of my favorite brands to partner with, and they were very excited to see how I could style some of their pieces. Full disclosure, they gifted me this outfit but I picked it out and styled it myself. 

I sized up to an 18 on top and on bottom! I am normally a 14-16. 

Shoes and purse are from my trendy accessory go-to, TARGET! (Seriously, they have the best stuff).
