SPRING STAPLES WITH LANE BRYANT: PART ONE

SPRING STAPLES WITH LANE BRYANT: PART ONE

How to rock white jeans and the power of a beautiful, lightweight kimono. Two things you can style endlessly, and two things you need in your closet ASAP.

This blog post is sponsored by Lane Bryant, a brand that believes in self-love just as much as I do.

White Jeans.

Yup. I said it. The two words that make about 90% of you reading this GASP.

Just kidding. But really, how many of you WISH you could pull off a pair of white jeans but just don't feel comfortable showing that much of your booty?

*raises hand*

*does a little wave*

Ok, first of all. We've gotta get over that. If you got it, flaunt it. But I totally hear you. Some days, I'm not in the mood to show off my cellulite and that is PERFECTLY OK.

And that, my friends, is what brings me to the POWER OF A KIMONO. I've been rocking this secret for years. Ever feel like your showing too much or like your look is missing something? Throw that little piece of magic on top and you're good. to. go.

The key is finding the perfect lightweight piece that you can throw over your outfit, to pull it all in in a flattering manner.

The white jeans and kimono I'm featuring today are from Lane Bryant.

Let me break it down for you:

The jeans are mid rise (they are a higher mid-rise) and skinny fit, super stretch and have "power pockets" that suck you in. I'm wearing a size 16 and they fit perfectly. To be honest, they are thick enough to wear I DO feel comfortable wearing a regular length shirt with these. Pretty excited to do that when it gets warmer out!

The kimono is a light weight cotton blend, and is perfect for all seasons. I love the color too! Subtle and beautiful, it will surely go with all of your spring wardrobe. One size fits all for this one.

I threw on a seriously cozy top I got from Target, and these adorable little velvet booties that you can actually wear all year long (YES. YOU CAN WEAR VELVET ALL YEAR. I DARE YOU!)

I've linked all of the items for you here! Happy (ALMOST) Spring!
