ROUND-UP // FALL BOOTS YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO SNAG
My favorite season of all is HERE! One way I love adding dimension to my fall/winter outfits is by throwing on a cute pair of booties or tall boots. I don’t always need wide calf, so this round-up includes mostly wide calf but also a few non wide brands & styles I’ve tried that worked for me. Boots can be SO hard - especially if you’re like me. I need COMFORT, and I need them to not look ridiculous. Ha!
THREE THINGS I NEED IN A BOOT:
Comfort, and it can’t be too high of a heel. Easy to put on. And won’t be skin tight on my leg or way too crinkly. I’m picky, I know. And I can’t stand the cheap looking faux leather one’s with scrunchy ankles. Sorry!!
FALL BOOTS YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO SNAG - ok, don’t buy all of them. But in my opinion, you need one “safe” bootie to wear with anything, one “fun” bootie, one “safe” tall boot to wear with everything, and again… one “fun” tall boot. The idea here is to slowly invest. Do your research, buy and try until you are truly satisfied. I don’t like to dish a lot of money on clothing items, but I have learned that with boots especially… you get what you pay for. I’ve linked boots on every price point here, but please know I can’t vouge for any of the cheaper brands… they look cute to me, but if you’re wanting to invest in a good classic pair for 6+ years I’d think about investing. ABOUT THIS LOOK
These tall boots were my Nordstrom sale find last year, and I’m SO happy with them. They do come in wide but I actually found that the standard fit me better. I have narrow ankles and wider calves - sometimes wide calf boots end up looking too baggy around my ankles if that makes any sense. I just found them for under $100 at Nordstrom Rack… ahh!!
