Whether you’re a first time mom, a mom of multiples, or just shopping for a baby gift… let’s face it. Narrowing down what you actually want and need can be difficult. Today I’m partnering with Walmart to round up all of my favorite baby items for their Best of Baby month! Most of these things I’ve used and love, and if we haven’t used it… I wish I had!
1. THE OWLET MONITOR (deal: buy now and get a $50 gift card with purchase)!
I got this for Emmie and I also used it with Pj. Once your baby starts sleeping for longer periods of a time, I highly recommend this for peace of mind. Don’t let ANYONE make you feel bad for constantly wanting to check on your sleeping baby… it is a part of being a mom. You created that baby, and your natural instinct is to keep it safe. This owlet monitor actually allowed me to sleep while the baby was sleeping rather than checking on the baby constantly. If you have anxiety at all, this will be your best friend.
2. BABY CLOTHES
Walmart actually has really cute baby and toddler clothes. I love them because if they get ruined it’s not the end of the world!
3. BABY PLAY JUMPER/BOUNCER/ENTERTAINER
We didn’t have this exact kind, but I would order this in a hot minute if Pj was 5 months old. Baby’s get bored around that age and this is something you can put them in and it will keep them occupied and safe… even if you just need to go to the bathroom!
4. BOUNCY SEAT
This thing was essential for both babies for me! Any time I needed to put the baby down, I’d put them in this and strap them in. I used it from about 2 months until 4 months and that may not sound like a long time to you, but it was beyond worth it! Especially if you have busy babies like mine. ;)
Again, in my case you can’t have enough baby entertainment gear. This exact thing lasted us from about 3 months until 7 months with BOTH babies… worth it!
6. BABY CRIB
We did not spend a lot of money on our crib and it has lasted us two babies. This one is similar to ours and we love it! The key is getting a neutral bed that will flow with whatever decor you go with. Oh, and make sure it’s convertible!
We looove water wipes and right now you can get a $5 gift card with purchase. We also love buying our diapers from Walmart, and right now you can get a $25 gift card with any size Huggies.
This thing was an essential. Both of my babies slept in it for the first few months!! I mean, hello, it is an automatic ROCKER!
9. HIGHCHAIR
This one is MAGNETIC and super simple and chic. We do not have this one, but if I were having another baby I’d look into it.
Yesss, we get a lot of our organic baby food from Walmart because the prices are great!
