FREE 99 FRIDGE
This Friday’s charity we want to bring focus to is Free 99 Fridge. Free 99 Fridge is an organization that places functioning donated fridges outside local businesses. Their fridges are filled with fresh fruits and vegetables to fight hunger while also preventing food waste. At any of their fridges, community members are encouraged to take what they need and leave what they don’t. In Atlanta, individual households, growers, and businesses will be given the opportunity of placing excess foods in our solidarity fridges for the community to take. This is absolutely amazing and such a great way to help fight hunger and prevent food waste. I would highly recommend taking a moment to check out their website and read more about them.
