FROM MORNING TO NIGHT WITH NORDSTROM MADE // 3 OUTFITS

Today I’m partnering with a brand I’ve loved for years and years, Nordstrom! But this campaign is about more than just fashion and clothing. I am honored to be able to share with you what they’re doing and have been doing for a while now to ignite change in the world. Nordstrom Made brands are designed in-house by Nordstrom. What I think is really cool about this is that this gives them the ability to do even more amazing things with the money they make off of these sales.
For example, the Nordstrom made line called Treasure & Bond gives 2.5% of net proceeds back to the following organizations that serve youth experiencing homelessness. Another Nordstrom Made brand I love is Zella, a design for workout wear and athleisure. I have always loved this brand — and am always impressed with the quality and fit!!
Nordstrom as a whole has done an impressive amount of work to further their diversity & inclusion. You can read the latest D&I report here, and the latest update here. They’ve pledged to achieve $500 million in retail sales by Black and Latinx owned brands by the year 2025. I love to see this type of plan and commitment from a brand, rather than just statements of hopes and dreams. This is something I check with all brands I work with, and if I would have known how easy it was to find I would have started doing that years ago which is why I share it with you — knowledge is power, and if 2020 has taught me anything it’s to be intentional.
I took a look into each brand and put together 3 looks — morning cozy chic, daytime running errands or grabbing coffee with a friend, and lastly … date night!! Something we have finally figured out how to do safely. Our town offers seating indoors (a very limited amount of people are allowed inside, and if you are, you are much more distanced than the required 6 feet apart), seating outdoors, and of course… finding masks that fit into my date night outfits because… why not?! These are actually the best masks I’ve found - I love that you can tie them so that if you need to lower your mask it still stays right around your neck.

LOOK 1 // COZY + CHIC
CARDIGAN (2x) | TANK (3x) | PANTS (3x) | SLIPPERS
style notes: I sized up in the tank for a looser fit, and with pants like this I would always suggest sizing up! This cardigan sweater is amazing quality… I’ve been trying a lot of brands lately for layers, and while I still love the cheaper ones, if you’ve been searching for great quality that will last… this one is amazing.

HOODIE (2x) | PANTS (3x) | SNEAKERS | MASK | PURSE
This hoodie and pants set from Zella is my NEW FAVORITE THING EVER. I have legit worn it several days in a row now, ha! With pants I always size up, and I did my true size in the hoodie. There is a lot of stretch and comfort and I’d say both items run TTS, if not even a little generous. The sneakers have a little lift in them and they also come in black and leopard. I suggest sizing up in the shoes a half size.

DRESS (2x) | BOOTS | MASK | EARRINGS
This dress fits me more perfect than any dress I’ve tried this year! There is a little stretch in the back of the dress around my bust which I think makes a HUGE difference in fit. Often I get stuck in between sizes. I love taking a dress this length and pairing it with booties!! These are white and I sized up in them, but they also come in black. They are actually super comfortable — highly recommend. I paired this outfit with these adorable heart shaped earrings.. I can’t stop wearing them, I really love them!!
