STAPLE WARDROBE: LEATHER A-LINE SKIRT

Omg. Am I an outfit repeater now?! I LEGIT have worn this skirt more than 5 times in the last two months which is huge for me. I am in the process of teaching myself the power of a great staple wardrobe, so thanks for coming along with me on this new "journey" of mine... 

This skirt though. I wanted to show you how to dress it down a little. I'm a huge believer in mixing high + low!

So the awesome thing about a leather skirt, that makes it a great staple item is this: it's perfect to dress up or dress down and despite popular belief, you can actually wear it YEAR ROUND.

I've worn this one to cocktail parties, weddings, casual events, work, etc. Here, I dressed it down with my favorite super casual distressed top (also a key staple to my wardrobe lately). 

My shoes are still available and are on CLEARANCE... I've worn them all year long, and they're super comfortable.
