PLUS SIZE ABERCROMBIE TRY-ON HAUL

I cannot believe I am posting an Abercrombie try-on haul right now. Growing up, we all know Abercrombie had a reputation for not being very inclusive, especially in their sizing. Recently I have been seeing so many mid-size and smaller plus size creators try their extended sizes - today, I am finally joining in!

For reference on Abercrombie’s plus sizing, they offer up to a 37 (equivalent to a 24W) in nearly all cuts of their denim as well as a variety of lengths (extra short, short, regular, long, and extra long). There is also a specific cut available called Curve Love that offers an extra 2” of room in the thighs.

My overall takeaway from this try-on is that the quality of Abercrombie’s clothing is excellent. I am happy to see them expanding into some plus size options and hope they continue to increase their size range, and I look forward to trying more pieces to give y’all more reviews!

TOP (XXXL) | DENIM SHORTS (35)

Shockingly comfortable with a little gapping in the back, but I personally wouldn’t size down!

FLORAL MAXI DRESS (XXL)

This dress is seriously so gorgeous. It photographs so well, but it is even more stunning in person. The super deep cut does lead to some bra challenges, but there are options! You could wear boob tape or go braless if you truly wanted to showing, or you could even do a textured bandeau for a little added texture and coverage.

TOP (XXXL) | 90s JEANS (35L)

I’ve never seen myself being a 90’s straight leg jeans girlie, but these are so cute! I am blown away by the quality of this denim. They fit so well in a size 35L!

GINGHAM MAXI DRESS (XXL)

I love a smocked bust on a dress. I love gingham. I love being able to wear a regular bra because there are thick enough straps. I love pockets. I love this dress.

TOP (XXXL) | SKINNY JEANS (35L)

I tried the 18 equivalent (34) in these, and I found them to be a little too snug - definitely needed the 35L. I am so impressed by these jeans - probably my favorite of the haul!
