Am I a super weird person?! Or is this what we call motherhood? I get SO emotional about everything! Like, literally the dolphins made me cry.

Today, we took my daughter to the aquarium for the first time and we saw the dolphin show. I got chills the entire time and teared up constantly. I also couldn't stop thinking about Free Willy which wasn't helping.

This isn't the first time this has happened. Seeing Santa for the first time, watching Elmo Live on stage, etc.  It's like, for some reason when she's experiencing something new for the first time it takes all I have in me to not sit there and cry. I never knew this would be a part of motherhood, if that's what this is and I'm not indeed just a total weirdo (I mean, seriously, if that's what this is... I'm cool with that too. Y'all just gotta let me know).

Let's talk about ponchos for a minute. In previous work places, I've been known to rock a poncho on the regular. Here's what I can't get enough of: they look good on ALL body types, they kind of cover your outfit which is perfect on the days that you're in a rush and don't have time to steam out your shirt, and it gives you that pulled together look. Perfect for moms on the go, work wear, or casual wear. Also perfect for when the weather is changing and you don't want to lug a coat around.

I am obsessed with neutrals, especially when it comes to handbags. Throw a muted neutral handbag with anything to help bring it all together in a chic way.

These booties are old Vince (proof that they're worth the money), so I've linked some other styles and brands on sale that have that good pointed toe that is so hard to find.

Lastly, for this look I just threw the poncho over my go-to tunic and faux leather Spanx leggings. Because let's be honest, that's my #momiform.
