AMAZON ESSENTIALS // Family Beach Trip
You know the Dorough fam LOVES the beach! We like to spend a lot of time at our family condo in Florida once the weather warms up. So far, we’ve been twice, so I thought it’d be a good time to share some beach essentials I found on Amazon — especially for those of you last minute packers (like myself) who wait to the last minute to order things!!

KID DONUT FLOAT
Finding a kid donut float that actually fits toddler/young child size can be challenging - these floats worked perfect for our kids and weren’t too big or too small.
OVERSIZED BEACH TOWEL
I absolutely love these - the size is great and the quality! Pearl also enjoyed being snuggled in them, lol.
COOKING PLAY SET
If you have a kid that likes to hyper focus on anything, this is a must have!! All of the kids enjoyed using this and never grew tired of it!
SAND OFF MITT
if you get one new gadget for your beach trip, let this be it. This thing is AMAZING. I was skeptical, but it has lasted us through two solid beach trips so far and I don’t see it giving out any time soon!
WORD SEARCHES
These are great if you have a kid that sometimes like to chill on the beach chair, like in my case Emaline (6) enjoys doing brain stimulating activities in between play. These were great, and she needed some assistance but we loved them.
SAND DIGGING SET
I am of the opinion that you can never have too many of these. Especially if you have multiple kids that will be playing together… you’re going to want to have enough for everyone. I got all of these and they were a hit!
SAND REPELLING TOWEL
This thing is awesome, it repels sand and is great if you want a flat surface on the sand.
SEA SHELL COLLECTING BAGS
These are amazing and all the kids loved having them as we searched for shells. They are mesh so the sand filters out easily!
BOGG BAG
These bags are so perfect because they are cute, functional, AND are super easy to spray down and clean after a day being filled with sand. They are a little on the pricier side as far as beach bags go, but in my opinion, they are so worth the investment!
