You're More Than a Size

Hey girl, ever see something cute and think “nah, my body isn’t in shape enough for that yet.” 😳 I used to do that too. In fact, I used to be the QUEEN of that type of behavior.
Here’s the thing I finally realized though. Body love, confidence and acceptance isn’t about how much you weigh or what size you wear.

My body has looked different almost every year of my adult life. Either I’m postpartum or I’ve been eating clean or I’ve been obsessively working out or I’ve been depressed or I’ve just been super super stressed and working nonstop. Either way, I fluctuate and change with the drop of a dime and in the past I always hated what I saw no matter what size I was.

So what’s the point of being so hateful to my current body? THIS BOD DESERVES THAT CUTE SWIMSUIT TOO!! Embrace your self NOW and you’ll look back on this time and wonder how you ever lived with such a hateful mindset before.

And, even better, you’ll finally start to look in the mirror and love what you see. Reminder: you’re more than a size, babe.

PS: WE CAN work out, eat nutritious foods, and take care of our mental health without obsessing over what our bodies looks like. The freedom we feel is worth the hard work it takes to get there.

So yeah, I bought the cute 🌈 bikini and even though I was scared... I said YES and pranced around this pink hotel like a boss. 🙌🏼 Guess what?! The world didn’t end and I had the best day ever.
